About

Hi, I’m Joe Carrano. I am currently the National Digital Stewardship Resident at Georgetown University Library. My project involves working to test, improve, and share preservation workflows for multiple digital preservation platforms and tools, focusing on Academic Preservation Trust and HathiTrust. I have a B.A. in history and political science from the University of Connecticut and dual master’s degrees in History and Library Science concentrating in U.S. History and Archives from the University of Maryland, College Park. For more on my education or work check out my resume page. The site you are on serves mainly as a place to host my resume and to put some (infrequent) blog posts on archives, history, and the digital world. If interested, stay and read more or contact me on twitter, I’m @joecar25.
